Swoop Launches Two New U.S. Routes from YEG

Swoop Airlines.Swoop announced the launch of two new inaugural flights from YEG with the start of non-stop service to Palm Springs, California (PSP) on 16DEC and to Orlando (SFB), Florida on 17DEC.

The airline's twice weekly non-stop service to PSP operates on Mondays and Thursdays, while flights between YEG and SFB operates once weekly on Fridays.

In addition, Swoop has issued a statement in response to the 15DEC federal government's renewed travel advisory.

"With travellers being tested an average of twice throughout their international journey and as the only fully-vaccinated air travel sector in the world, we believe that vaccinations and testing are the right path forward for safe international air travel," said Charles Duncan, President of Swoop.

According to a press release, Swoop has flown more than 800,000 travellers during the pandemic with a "zero-tolerance" mask policy and mandatory vaccinations requirements for both employees and air travellers.
