Travel Booking Gamechanger: Could Canadian Kids be Vaccinated by Christmas?

The CBC’s Ian Hanomansing speaks to medical experts who say that Health Canada is close to approving COVID-19 vaccines for Canadian children 5-11, so vaccine rollout for that age group may be only short weeks away. That would potentially make it possible for most elementary-school-aged kids to have ‘first shots in arms by Christmas.’ Getting nearly all members of the family vaccinated may be the final piece of the puzzle that allows Canadian families to commit to firm plans for travel during the Christmas holidays or March break; welcome news for Canadian travel advisors hoping to get a boost from sun vacation bookings over the coming months.
