With expedition cruising to Antarctica booming, Silversea Cruises is planning a scouting mission to spur the development of guidelines for more Antarctic landing sites with a 12-day scouting trip in JAN 2023.
Silversea is chartering a research vessel from its partner, DAP Antarctic Airways for this purpose, reported by Sea Trade Cruise News.
The research team is hoping to visit around 50 places in search of bird colonies, seal colonies and glacier front scenery.
