Riverside Luxury Cruises to Target North American Pax and 'Pick Up Where Crystal Left Off'

After acquiring five river vessels from previous owner Crystal Cruises, Jennifer Halboth, CEO for the Americas for Germany-based Riverside Luxury Cruises, says the line is “going to pick up where Crystal left off.” 

Halboth told Seatrade Cruise News that the line expects most of its customers to come from North America, and Riverside will be seeking to emulate Crystal’s former luxury service, food and style including butlers attending all suites. Halboth added that Riverside will launch at 45 per cent lower fares than Crystal's 2019 brochure rates and a 21 per cent commission to entice agents and consumers.
