Richard Fain: Alaska Season More Likely After CDC Relaxes Rules

Royal Caribbean Group CEO Richard Fain said the CDC's latest guidance makes the prospect of an Alaska season more likely. The CDC committed to a mid-JUL restart in US waters, allowing cruise lines to skip test sailings if 98% of crew and 95% of passengers are fully vaccinated. Fain acknowledged Canada’s cruise ban remains an additional hurdle before Alaska cruises can resume.
