Smithsonian Journeys and Ponant are collaborating on the new “Symphony on the St. Lawrence” offering a 15-day sailing onboard the Le Bellot to the Canadian Maritimes, according to a press release.
The journey, beginning in Toronto, will take in Montreal, Quebec City, Percé, Charlottetown, Magdalen Islands, various Nova Scotia stops, Maine and conclude in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
According to Cruise Industry News, each of the journeys will be led by two Smithsonian Journeys experts, such as art historians, solar astrophysicists, or international relations experts, who will help guests deepen their knowledge about the destinations they visit.
The journeys will also feature performances by internationally acclaimed musicians.
Rates for the sailing begin at CAD$17,708 per person, based on double occupancy.
