Parent Company of Fairmont Re-orgs Into Two Divisions

Accor, parent company of Fairmont, Emblems, Raffles, and other hotels brands, is re-organizing itself into two business divisions, a move intended to accelerate its global development and create a “clear and transparent” business model for each line.

The company’s two new divisions are called “Economy, Midscale & Premium” and “Luxury & Lifestyle,” and the transition is effective 01OCT 2022, reports Business Travel News.

Economy, Midscale & Premium will include brands such as Ibis, Novotel, and Swissotel for a total of 4,816 properties and another 948 hotels in development. The Luxury & Lifestyle division will encompass Raffles and Orient Express, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery, and Ennismore for a total of 488 hotels around the world, plus another 266 in development.
