Panama recently approved a plan to vaccinate visitors in an effort to bolster the country’s tourism industry, which was badly affected due to the pandemic. According to the Panama government, tourists are set to receive AstraZeneca vaccines, with the recommended interval between the two doses set at eight to 12 weeks. At this time, it is not clear when this vaccination initiative will come into effect, but those tourists wishing to be vaccinated are expected to stay at least two nights at hotels registered with the Panama Tourism Authority.
