One Canadian Airport Made Skytrax’ List of the World's Best in 2023

It’s not in the top ten, and barely made the Top 20 list at all. But YVR was the sole Canadian airport to rank in Skytrax’ annual list of the world’s best airports in 2023. Ranked #20, YVR also had little company by way of U.S. airports. SEA-TAC was the only American airport on the list, coming in at #18.

In the top 5, three were in Asia: Singapore Changi, Tokyo Haneda, and Incheon. Qatar’s Hamad International ranked #2 and the top 5 was rounded out by CDG, the highest-ranked European airport among 9 that made the Top 20.

Skytrax surveys travelers globally about their airport experience – from check-in to departures and features like art, dining, and entertainment - to rank the world’s airports.
