Norwegian’s Next 2 Prima-Class Ships to be Delayed

Norwegian Cruise Line has confirmed that its third and fourth Prima-class ships, scheduled to debut in late 2024 and mid- to-late 2025 respectively, will be delayed due to shipyard issues.

The ships are not yet under construction, with shipyards suffering from supply chain issues, a lack of skilled workers for high-tech vessels and the ongoing Ukraine war causing macroeconomic pressures, as Cruise Hive reports.

This follows the news in mid-AUG that the second Prima-class ship Norwegian Viva, would be delayed and had its first six sailings cancelled.
