The new owners of the Crystal Cruises brand, A&K Travel Group, have reportedly announced plans to offer customers a “refundable” USD $500 deposit on their chosen suite once new itineraries have been released for Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, expected to enter service in 2023.
A&K CEO Cristina Levis explained: “Our plan is to soon offer the opportunity to make an ‘Open Booking’ with a nominal $500 per suite refundable deposit…When the new deck plans, itineraries and pricing are complete, these Open Bookings will be given the first opportunity to select the voyage and suite category of their choice.” According to Levis, the offer is part of the company’s efforts to “rebuild trust and confidence” in the brand.
