New Airline Planning Low-cost Flights Between Europe and Canada, U.S.

A new low-cost airline is promising to bring back budget transatlantic flights.

Belfast-based Fly Atlantic announced plans to launch in summer 2024. Taking a major risk in a difficult transatlantic low-cost market that has recently seen Norwegian slash its long-haul routes and WOW going bankrupt, the airline will offer flights from Belfast to the US and Canada.

CNN reports that the airline already has offices at the Belfast airport (BFS).
