Luxury Travel Advisor heard “all very good news” in its first “Affluent Sentiment Survey” in APR 2022, designed to learn how luxury travellers are adapting to a new era in travel and how luxury travel advisors are operating post-pandemic.
According to the survey, some advisors are receiving so much business they need to turn some clients away, as luxury travellers are reportedly willing to spend even more than they did pre-pandemic.
63 per cent of luxury travel advisor respondents said their sales for 2022 will be “on par” with 2019 levels, while 93.4 per cent said they are more optimistic about the industry now than they were at the end of 2021.
68 per cent said clients are “upgrading their travel to new levels,” spending more, using private air travel and staying longer. The Affluent Sentiment Survey was conducted from 07-22APR with 288 responses of U.S.-based luxury advisors and agencies.
