This summer, some cruise lines will sail at nearly pre-pandemic levels of capacity, reports The Olympian. At the company’s Q1 earnings call, Naftali Holtz, CFO of Royal Caribbean Group, said capacity is expected to reach 75 to 80 per cent by the end of JUN. Carnival Corp. CEO Arnold Donald said he predicts for the company to get closer to pre-pandemic operations, which includes capacity levels, throughout the summer.
However, issues such as crew staff shortages, are limiting capacity and even entire sailings for a number of cruise lines, even as demand returns.
