Hotels Catering to 'Bleisure' Travellers with Families Who Pay More for Luxury Service

As both the leisure and business travel segments continue to recover, the “bleisure” travel concept, a blend of both segments, continues to evolve, reports Hotel News Resource.

During a panel discussion at the 14th annual Hotel Data Conference on 10AUG, hoteliers shared their observations that bleisure travellers who bring their families with them for conferences will often book two double rooms, and seek amenities like high-speed internet for work. Another observation is that bleisure travellers are often “experience-driven,” and are willing to pay for five-star level service.
