Global Wildlife Tourism Market Expected to Grow 5% Annually to $219.9 Bn in a Decade

According to Future Market Insights data and analysis firm, the global wildlife tourism market is now valued at USD $135 billion, and is expected to grow on a compounded annual basis by 5 per cent to reach a value of nearly $220 billion by 2032.

Wildlife tourism includes safari tours, eco-tourism, and mountain tourism in places like national parks and sanctuaries. The report says the U.S. is expected to lead the market over the next decade, and attributes the projected growth in value of wildlife tourism on the willingness of travellers to spend extra money to contribute to the preservation of local Indigenous ways of life, land for and protection of wildlife.

The report adds that the availability of eco-tourism and accommodation in these spaces has taken on increased significance and will continue to meet demand for more wildlife tourism on all continents.
