Following headlines of unruly guests and even fist fights on board, Carnival has unveiled ways to get guests to behave better. The Washington Post reports that Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy took to YouTube with a message revealing the cruise line has added additional security workers and drug-sniffing dogs in an effort to encourage better behavior.
Two weeks after the video, a letter was sent to passengers booked for upcoming cruises. The letter entitled “Safety First!” shares guidelines on what can’t be brought on board, and warns of a $500 fine for throwing anything overboard.
