DID IT HURT? Expedia Calls It for 2023 Travel Thingies: Set-Jetters, Cowboy-Cations & Foodie-Menities

Expedia Group unveiled a list of catchy, bordering on weird, names for traveller trends for 2023, pulling historical trend data from its own brands. The results show streamed movies and TV shows are now the top sources of travel inspiration with a 40 per cent share, with social media at 31 percent, reports Travel Agent Central. Set-Jetters anyone?

Culture capitals, the rising popularity of 3-star hotels, wellness retreats and retreats with “foodie-menities” such as outdoor kitchens, pizza ovens and air fryers are also proving to be travel tastemakers.
