Automatic Pre-approval for Vaxxed Pax to Make Travel to St Maarten Easier

Beginning 01AUG, St Maarten’s online registration portal, the Electronic Health Authorization Service, will immediately pre-approve vaccinated travellers once they fully complete their forms. As reported by Caribbean Journal, the destination is not changing its travel requirements, but officials say the approvals will “help avoid” cancellations.

While St Maarten officials will still check travellers’ documents at the airport, its Health Minister says the plan is to transition the online portal to “a more effective system that fosters safety without negatively affecting our visitor numbers.”
