Destination Canada’s 2023 Global Traveller Research Program
Destination Canada’s 2023 Global Traveller Research Program (previously known as the Global Tourism Watch) is now live on the Canadian Tourism Data Collective. The program offers insights from Destination Canada's 10 key markets: Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
The reports provide comprehensive data on traveller behaviours, preferences, and habits, including:
- The number of potential visitors from each key market to Canada in the next two years.
- Insights into the region's travellers are most interested in visiting.
- The kinds of activities travellers are considering, including details on Indigenous activities.
- Details about travellers’ most recent trip include information on travel companions, the type of accommodation booked, and deeper insights into preferences and behaviors.
