EPCOT's newest ride, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, reached capacity in just three seconds after opening its Extended Evening hours virtual queue, according to Disney.

Extended Evening theme park hours are for the new ride and others at EPCOT are available on certain days for guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, and The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.

Eligible guests can use Disney's Virtual Queue to access Extended Evening hours twice, once during the 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. availability and again at the 6 p.m. availability. In addition, purchasing a Lightning Lane entry would allow for a maximum of 3 Cosmic Rewind rides in a day.

On the first day of opening to the Extended Evening Hours Virtual Queue, boarding groups for the 6 p.m. availability at Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind were taken "almost instantly." All spots were taken in a similar way at the 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. availabilities, reported WDW Magic.

Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind opened at EPCOT on 27MAY. For more information on the ride, click here.
