TRAVELSAVERS Canada Parent Company Celebrates 50th Anniversary at Travel Market 2022 in Las Vegas

The parent company of TRAVELSAVERS AND TRAVELSAVERS Canada marked its half-century along with 800 attendees of Travel Market 2022 at Resorts World Las Vegas from 27-30OCT.

American Marketing Group's 2022 conference theme was "Stronger, Bolder, Brighter," and affiliates from Canada and the U.S., preferred suppliers and AMG staff had the opportunity for learning, networking, brainstorming, planning and celebrating.

“There is so much to celebrate with our 50th anniversary but it goes beyond that,” said Nicole Mazza, Chief Marketing Officer. “Together with our advisors and partners, we’ve accomplished so much over the years. Our philosophy is firmly anchored by our family culture – the foundation comprised of the shared values, competencies and the spirit of our team. What Rick Mazza started 50 years ago serving the travel agency community has continued to grow thanks to innovation, creativity, service, technology and our people, which has contributed to our success and will pilot us for the next 50 years.”

"Robust" Future of Travel

AMG says projections are "robust" for all travel types with year-over-year growth for Insurance at 63 per cent, hotel revenue at 40 per cent and room nights at 24 per cent, cruise sales at 29 per cent, land at 24 per cent, cruise group sales at 15 per cent and suite sales are also on the rise. Land travel has seen the largest increase with Europe and domestic destinations trending the highest with 50 per cent plus growth.

New preferred partners were announced, including Explora Journeys and Quark Expeditions for cruise; Exoticca and Adventure World Travel for touring; Emirates, ITA Airways and L Compagnie for airlines; and global luxury transportation company MHS Worldwide as well as global shore excursions operator Venture Ashore, among other new additions.

“We thank all of our preferred partners, many of whom have been with us from the start, for their support, partnership and friendship. As evidenced by our optimistic forward trend, our affiliates continue to support them appreciating their exclusive offers, compensation and level of service,” said Mazza.
