Kyle Sparkman Heads Up Allianz Canada

Allianz Global Assistance (Allianz) has announced Kyle Sparkman as its new Managing Director and Head of Allianz in Canada, effective 01DEC 2024.

Sparkman, who has been with Allianz since 2019 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sales Officer, succeeds Chris Van Kooten, who left the company in October 2024.

“We are excited to announce the promotion of Kyle. Over the last five years, Kyle has been an integral part of our leadership team and will continue driving our Canadian strategy forward,” said Jeff Wright, Managing Director for North America and Chairman of Allianz Global Assistance. “I look forward to the energy he will bring as the managing director and I’m confident Allianz will continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers, partners and employees.”
