Christine James, Vice President of Travel Leaders Network, marks an impressive milestone as she celebrates 25 years with the company.

With a passion for exploration, James has visited 92 countries and aims to reach 100 by the end of 2025. This global perspective continues to inspire her dedication to her work and the travel community.

I’m so proud and privileged to celebrate my 25th work anniversary with such a well-respected company like Travel Leaders Network. I can’t believe how the time has flown so quickly, and I am thrilled to be able to continue this journey with such a great company,” she said.

Since joining Travel Leaders Network in 1999 as a Business Development Manager, James has ascended through the ranks, holding leadership positions, including Director of National Sales, Senior Director of Industry Relations, and Country Manager for Canada. She has served as Vice President for Canada since 2010, managing operations for over 600 member agencies responsible for CAD$520 million in travel sales.

James credits much of her success to the relationships she’s built over the years. “I’m also grateful to have worked with so many talented individuals over the years, including many of our members and suppliers who I first started with back in 1999.  I consider them part of the family. I’ve formed many close bonds and friendships which makes coming to work every day even more rewarding,” she said.

Her colleagues echo this sentiment.

“Working with Christine is a privilege,” said Roger E. Block, President of Travel Leaders Network. “Over her 25 years, she has successfully led the Canadian market, and today, she plays a tremendous role in the continued growth of our company. We are all indebted to her for her unwavering commitment, support and outstanding leadership.”
