TL Network Canada Appoints Cheryl Babulal as New Sales Manager

TL Network appoints new sales manager – Cheryl Babulal

TL Network Canada has appointed travel industry veteran Cheryl Babulal as Sales Manager, effective 12DEC. She brings 20 years of experience to one of the largest networks of travel agencies in North America.

In her new position, Babulal will help identify and develop new business opportunities for TL Network Canada, with the goal of increasing volume and market share through recruiting new travel agencies into the company.

Babulal will report to Lindsay Pearlman, Senior Vice President, Travel Leaders Network, part of Internova Travel Group. “We are excited to have Cheryl join TL Network Canada and are confident that she will be a tremendous asset to our team,” Pearlman said. “She has more than 20 years of experience, demonstrating leadership and a solid track record of success as a sales strategist in driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth.”

Babulal comes to TL Network Canada from Travelweek Group, where she was Business Development Manager for Canada. Previously, Babulal spent 13 years at Toronto’s Ensemble Travel Group, serving as Business Development Director — Atlantic, Manitoba and Ontario. In that role, she established, developed and fostered partnerships with more than 110 company stakeholders in Eastern Canada, consistently exceeding sales targets and achieving the highest sales growth in the country.

She began her career as a branch manager, working for several travel companies, including American Express, Thomas Cook and Sears. Babulal earned a diploma in travel and tourism administration from Seneca College in Ontario.

“TL Network Canada is one of the most respected names in our industry, and its member travel agencies are known for providing high-quality service to their clients,” Babulal said. “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to put my skills and experience to use in helping the company grow.”
