ACTA Releases Content for Advisors to Share with Clients to Help Explain Travel Chaos

advisor, agent, working, IC, work at home, home office, woman workingACTA has developed a bilingual letter template and social media content intended for travel agencies and independent travel agents to share with clients to help explain long wait times and travel delays, schedule changes, and cancellations.

“Travel disruptions are significantly impacting travel agencies, travel agents, airlines, and customers,” said Wendy Paradis, ACTA President. “The pandemic, continued government restrictions, and economy-wide labour shortages are causing distressing wait times in nearly all aspects of the travel experience.”

According to Paradis, these new bilingual templates have been created at the request of travel agencies and independent travel agents to share with clients.

Travel agencies, travel agents and independent travel agents are free to use and edit these materials, such as placing their own logo on the social media content. No attribution to ACTA is required.

The new materials are available on ACTA's web site.

ACTA says it is continuing to engage with governments and suppliers on ways to alleviate travel wait times, including addressing remaining COVID-19 restrictions and labour shortages.
