While the federal government has advised Canadians against international travel, rules for domestic travel may vary, as individual provinces and territories set their own restrictions and quarantine rules to stem the Omicron variant.
Those travelling by plane or rail in Canada are still required to be fully vaccinated as per federal policy.
For regional differences, the CBC has compiled a list of each provinces’ and territories’ travel restrictions, which are still subject to change. Some regions have stricter rules (Newfoundland and Labrador; Northwest Territories), while others are easier to enter (Ontario, Alberta).
