G Adventures’ “G-Normous” Campaign Rewards Agents; Offers Savings to Clients

G Adventures; ColumbiaG Adventures is kicking off 2022 with the return of G-Normous, its biggest annual agent incentive.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, G-Normous is back again in 2022 with its highest-value offering of cash and prizes yet: $75K-worth up for grabs across the U.S. and Canada to thank travel agent partners for their support.

In addition, the company has also announced its Great Adventure Sale, with up to 25 per cent off more than 400 trips for advisors’ clients.

“January is traditionally a peak booking month for agents. While there is still lingering uncertainty, we are seeing bookings come in for short-term travel, so we encourage agents to focus on this market – people who are keen to get away as soon as they can and escape the winter months,” says David Green, managing director for G Adventures in Canada.

He adds that he hopes the new G-Normous incentive helps agents to inspire their customers to book at a still uncertain time, and shows them how much their knowledge and expertise is valued.

“Our partners are more important and valued than ever. They have been working hard to help customers navigate the ever-changing protocols our current travel landscape presents. That’s why we have made this year’s G-Normous incentive the biggest yet, as a way to say “thank you” for the dedication our unsung travel hero partners are showing daily for the industry we are all so passionate about,” says Green.

“At G Adventures, we have run more than 2,000 tours since September 2020. The current booking window for Canadians is four months and our Book With Confidence policy – which enables travellers to cancel and rebook up to 14 days before departure – is giving people the confidence to book now. The great deals available in our Great Adventure Sale provide agents with an extra perk to pass on their customers.”

From 01JAN to 30APR, agents have the opportunity to win cash and prizes each month, to compete in fun community challenges, and to vie for the $5K grand prize for the overall G-Normous top seller in Canada.

The more trips booked during the promotion window (regardless of travel date), the more chances there are to win a cash prize each month and be in to win the grand prize. In addition to the cash prizes, agents also receive one entry to win a trip each month – drawn at random – with each booking made.

Each month, G-Normous spotlights a new promotion and tourism board sponsor. January is sponsored by Colombia and focuses on the launch of G Adventures’ Great Adventure Sale, which is live now and offers up to 25 per cent off more than 400 trips worldwide, including all trips in Colombia.

Agents also have access to an additional 20 per cent off promotion, available on a selection of tours and exclusive to them as G-Normous travel heroes. All details, as well as terms and conditions, can be found on the G-Normous home page at www.gadventures.com/gnormous.

In 2022, G-Normous includes new monthly Community Challenges. These are a fun and interactive way for agents to win additional cash and prizes each month by showing off their travel trivia knowledge, sharing stories, and nominating peers who have gone above and beyond in their roles this past year. Monthly challenges, as well as G-Normous leaderboards and updates, will be posted on the G Adventures ‘Canadian Agents of Change’ Facebook group over the course of the incentive program.

Agents with a G Adventures Sherpa account are automatically registered. Agents without an account can sign-up through their agency manager at www.gadventures.com/agents/register/.
