Hyatt to Debut Hyatt Vivid Brand with Grand Island Resort in Cancun

Hyatt Announces Plans for First Hyatt Vivid Property to open in 2024

Hyatt Hotels is expanding its Inclusive Collection in Cancun with the opening of the first Hyatt Vivid property in early 2024. The Hyatt affiliate is a result of a management agreement with Grupo Murano.

The resulting Grand Island complex will combine and connect two large properties: the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island and the Dreams Grand Island. Owners and managers expect that this huge project will become a desirable destination for a variety of travellers.

The Hyatt Vivid Grand Island is an adult only property with 400 guest rooms, and the Dreams Grand Island will have 616 rooms, a total of 1016 rooms combined. Both buildings will be located side by side, in front of the beach.

Hyatt Vivid guests will have access to the adjacent Dreams Grand Island. The combined resorts will feature 19 culinary concepts, including Japanese, Mexican, French and Mediterranean. Guests will also have access to the onsite spa, which features 25 treatment rooms, a fitness centre, multiple pools, a beach club and more.
