British-Canadian television producer and host Debbie Travis joins Scenic for a special Gems of the Danube Sailing in 2023.

“I am so excited to host the Gems of the Danube Cruise in April of 2023,” said Debbie. “This has been on my bucket list for years and I am thrilled to experience all the wonders and joy of this region with my fans and soon to be new friends.”
Known for her TV design series' beginning with Debbie Travis’ Painted House, followed by Debbie Travis’ Facelift and others, Debbie has expanded her entrepreneurial ventures to include home designer, best-selling author, designer of furniture collections, home restorer, and luxury boutique hotelier. Her most recent project is La Dolce Debbie, a six-part 30-minute series that documents her heartwarming and often hilarious story of restoring a 13th-century ruin in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Now a luxury boutique hotel, Villa Reniella is where Debbie hosts retreats, classic car rallies and corporate events, sharing the wonders of Tuscany.
Travis will be talking about those subjects and more with guests on Scenic’s eight-day Gems of the Danube, 19-26APR 2023.
This five-country itinerary that runs between Nuremburg and Budapest has fares starting at CAD $6,045 per person, double. Guests booking by 31JUL 2022 enjoy roundtrip flights for CAD $495 and can save an additional 10% off cruise fares if paying in full at time of booking.
Guests booking this special Gems of the Danube departure will have multiple opportunities to interact with and learn from Debbie. An evening welcome reception kicks off the cruise in Nuremburg and features cocktails and the chance to meet Debbie and meet and greet session is slated for the morning in Regensburg. Debbie with also host a special evening presentation that will be exclusive to Debbie Travis guests.
In addition to these special events with Debbie Travis, this itinerary offers an abundance of cultural, historical and culinary pursuits. Home to a remarkable array of European capitals and wonderful attractions, the Danube is the second-largest waterway in Europe and one of the most popular amongst cruisers. In true Bavarian fashion, guests can taste local beers in rock-cut cellars under the city of Nuremberg; hop aboard an e-bike for a self-guided cycle around the medieval city of Regensburg; learn how to craft regional delicacies by taking part in a traditional cooking class; and hike up Buda Hill. Guests enjoy a Scenic Enrich exclusive event - a classical evening concert in Vienna’s luxuriously opulent Palais Liechtenstein.
