Ultra-luxury Seabourn will operate a series of 7-day sailings round trip from Bridgetown beginning on 18JUL. The voyages opened for booking 21APR.

It’s the second offshore cruise operation the company has announced. The Seabourn Odyssey will cruise in the Caribbean even as its sister ship, the Ovation will sail from Greece starting 03JUL.

The series of voyages are open to any nationality of guests that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, that is: a minimum of 14 days following completion of the course of dose(s). The company will require proof, and crew will also be vaccinated.

The newly-announced cruises from Barbados will call in Southern Caribbean destinations, including ports of call in Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and St. Kitts.

Guests can also choose a back-to-back option with two distinct sailings. The 14-day combination combines two distinct 7-day itineraries between Windward and Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea.

Previously released itineraries for Fall 2021 sailings include additional port calls in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Guadeloupe, and Martinique.

"We are grateful to be working in concert with the Government of Barbados to restart tourism in Barbados and the Caribbean Sea," said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn. "The entire Seabourn family is energized to provide our award-winning service, dining and entertainment on board Seabourn Odyssey starting again this July."

Following the first announcement of offshore cruising in the Mediterranean, Leibowitz was quick to assure guests and travel advisors that health and safety precautions would not infringe on the signature Seabourn experience.

That includes onboard Seabourn dining, and leisure experiences, as well as Seabourn’s famous "Caviar in the Surf", on these itineraries at Carambola Beach, allowing guests to enjoy beautiful beaches while Seabourn team members wade through turquoise water to serve chilled caviar and Champagne. The day also includes a lavish barbeque lunch.

A Marina Day is also scheduled, where the ship's staff treats guests to an afternoon of active watersports operated directly from a platform on the back of the ship.

Seabourn is finalizing additional details for these voyages, including more information on the shoreside experiences, and will share them in the coming weeks. They will also be posted on the Seabourn website.

The company suggests advisors contact clients to book early for best suite selection, and the brand will offer flexible cancellation terms through Book with Confidence as well.
