Lynx Air Partners with Allianz Global Assistance

Lynx Air (Lynx) has announced an exclusive partnership with Allianz Global Assistance (Allianz). The Calgary, Alberta-based airline said its customers can now protect their flights with Allianz's travel insurance products. "Travellers can add cancellation, interruption and medical coverage to new and existing Lynx Air bookings."

Vijay Bathija, Chief Commercial Officer of Lynx Air, said, "Lynx Air is excited to support our valued clients with trusted travel protection from Allianz Global Assistance."

"Their travel insurance products not only provide peace of mind, they allow us to provide guests with added confidence as they explore the world."

According to the ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC), "offering travel protection allows Lynx Air to provide value to a traveller's investment with the airline."

Matt Anstett, eComm & Travel Channel's director, added, "Lynx Air customers who select our travel insurance products can have an even more enjoyable trip knowing that we are here to protect them from unexpected events, covered by their policy."

Travel insurance, provided by Allianz, may help protect Lynx Air passengers from losses not covered by Air Passengers Protection Rights (APPR).
