On 02MAY, German leisure Condor Airlines returned to service between Toronto and its hub in Frankfurt. Year-round, non-stop flights operate four times each week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The first flight (#DE2403) takes off 02MAY from Toronto at 7:50 p.m. and arrives in Frankfurt (FRA) at 9:50 a.m. (+1 day).  Return flight #DE2402 departs Frankfurt at 3:05 p.m. and arrives Toronto (YYZ) at 6:00 p.m.

From its Frankfurt hub, Condor offers connecting service to more than 100 destinations throughout Europe via Condor and a network of airline and rail partners including Lufthansa, SAS, Aegean Airlines and more.  Easy connections in Frankfurt can be made to such popular European vacation destinations as Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Athens, Zurich, Geneva, Split, Hamburg, Berlin, Seville and Budapest.

"We are seeing an increasing amount of pent-up demand from Canadians who are now eager to visit Europe," said Mathias Friess, vice president and area manager, North America. “Condor Airlines is pleased to return to Toronto and provide travelers from the region with a more affordable way to get to Europe.  We are also thrilled following a pause during the pandemic to now return to year-round service.”

All flights to and from Frankfurt are operated on Boeing 767-300 equipment and feature three classes of service (value-oriented Economy, Premium and Business).

The carrier adds that it expects its premium classes with fares that are up to 50 percent less than the legacy airlines to be popular with Canadians.

Condor’s Business Class features lie-flat seats, a personal in-seat, premium touch-screen entertainment system, power ports at every seat and exquisite and delicious premium menus with complimentary non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

In addition, special menus for children as well as vegetarian, vegan and lactose or gluten-free meals are available.  Business Class passengers also have access to priority check-in and lounge access.

Premium Class features seats with added legroom, leg rests and adjustable headrests, a premium in-flight, in-seat entertainment system with an extended program, USB ports at every seat, premium meals and complimentary beverages.

More About Condor

Condor is Germany's most popular leisure airline, in service for more than 65 years. Every year, more than nine million guests fly with Condor from the nine largest airports in Germany, from Zurich in Switzerland and Vienna in Austria to around 90 destinations in Europe, Africa and North America. Condor operates a fleet of over 50 aircraft, which are maintained by the company's own maintenance operation.

In spring 2022, Germany's most popular vacation carrier unveiled its new brand identity: Condor is vacation and vacation is stripes. Inspired by parasols, bath towels and beach chairs, Condor now wears stripes in five colours. This clearly shows the development from a vacation airline to a unique and unmistakable vacation brand.

Condor is the German launch customer for 16 A330neo long-haul aircraft. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and maximum efficiency, the latest-generation 2-liter aircraft is the European front-runner with 2.1 liters per passenger per 100 kilometres and maximum customer comfort.
