COVID-19 Test Included In Swoop's Vacation Package From YYZ To MoBay

Hoping to inspire traveller confidence, all passengers on Swoop's newly launched "Trusted Travel Getaway" vacation packages from YYZ to Montego Bay will undergo a free COVID-19 test.

This means all passengers flying on the "Trusted Travel Getaway" flight will have proof of a negative COVID-19 test before boarding.

The package includes a seven-night stay at the all-inclusive Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay, located in one of the country's Resilient Corridors. The limited-time offering applies to vacations departing 19DEC, 26DEC, and 02JAN.

Testing is currently not a requirement for Canadians to enter Jamaica, but Bert van der Stege, Head of Commercial at Swoop, says he hopes this added screening measure will provide "enhanced peace of mind" for travellers.

"We've heard from many Canadians who are eager to get away this winter but want to do so responsibly," says van der Stege.

"Swoop and IHG Hotels & Resorts have a shared focus on thorough health and hygiene protocols. We believe that the inclusion of free COVID-19 insurance along with the requirement of a negative COVID-19 test before boarding will ensure that sun-seeking Ontarians can travel confidently from Toronto Pearson."

Bookings for the "Trusted Travel Getaway" opened on 12NOV. Click here for more information.
