TTC is introducing a new Wellbeing Direct or (WD) on its guided vacations

The Travel Corporation (TTC) is introducing a dedicated Wellbeing Director (WD) position on every Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold guided vacation (excluding Australia and New Zealand), beginning with the launch of its immersive domestic trips this year.

The Wellbeing Director will help ensure adherence to health and safety standards and that guests remain up-to-date with the latest guidelines. The WDs will be with clients throughout their entire journey.

“We remain passionately dedicated to providing our valued guests peace of mind with our unrelenting efforts to create a relaxing, enjoyable and nurturing journey," said Brett Tollman, Chief Executive of The Travel Corporation.

TTC says its Wellbeing Directors are trained in three areas:

Personal Support and Assistance -- The Wellbeing Director will be available to handle guest questions or concerns relating to wellbeing measures and will provide personal support with luggage management, and ensuring all handles are sanitized during loading and unloading. They will also provide guests with information on the latest destination developments and wellbeing travel tips.

Supplier Engagement and Compliance -- The Wellbeing Director will be responsible for the Quality Assurance of all hotels, venues and suppliers. They will ensure all travel partners meet the established criteria of TTC, WTTC and WHO wellbeing protocol standards.

Daily Monitoring -- The Wellbeing Director will supervise the daily wellness checks of all TTC guests, the Travel Director and Driver. They will work with the Driver to ensure sanitization of the motor coach and ensure hygiene, physical distancing and wellbeing regulations are adhered to.
