🛩️🎉Porter Airlines Celebrates 20 Years!

Open Jaw’s Nina Slawek joined Porter Airlines executives, travel industry leaders, media and supplier partners tonight at Toronto’s Radisson Blu to celebrate two decades in the skies.

The milestone called for a signature Porter-blue drink, anniversary cupcakes and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with industry colleagues and toast the airline’s journey over the past 20 years. 🥂🧁

Here’s to celebrating the journey so far—and what’s ahead! ✈️

🇵🇹 The race may be over, but the connections continue!

Following the 20th anniversary Air Canada–United Airlines Race, several travel advisors extended their Portugal experience with post FAM tours exploring the country through Wine, UNESCO heritage, Gastronomy, or Active & Nature.

The groups reunited last night for one final dinner, sharing stories, memories and new connections forged along the way.

As Edna Ray, Senior Manager, Regional Sales – Global Sales at Air Canada put it, “The partnerships and relationships that have been created here, that’s what it’s all about.”

And that’s what makes these industry experiences about so much more than the destination. Until next time, Portugal! 🇵🇹🥂

No Fear of Heights Here! Agents braved the Arouca 516 metre long bridge, one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world. The bridge is suspended 175 metres above River Paiva.

Like many of the adventure activities in #AroucaGeopark, the bridge is accessible to people with disabilities. With advance notice, wheelchair users can enter through the accessible entrance, and travellers with limited mobility can request access to a wheelchair and assistance from their guide.

Immersed in Portugal’s culture today. Travel advisors on the Air Canada - United Airlines Race visited the Arouca UNESCO Geopark, where they toured the 10th-century monastery, which now houses a five-star hotel.
Advisors enjoyed traditional sweets historically made by the nuns who lived at the monastery before meeting with local suppliers.
