Sunwing Says It's Business As Usual For Canadian Visitors To Cuba

Following a meeting with senior Cuban officials, Stephen Hunter, CEO of the Sunwing Travel Group, has advised that new medical insurance requirements for travel to Cuba from May 1, 2010 onwards will have little or no effect on Canadian citizens.

 

According to Vice Minister Maria Elena Lopez Reyes of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, 'The process for seeking treatment and making an insurance claim will be handled the same way it always has been.'
