Open Jaw

Students in Seneca's Tourism and Travel program will now get work experience without even having to leave campus.

Beginning this month, a new partnership between Merit Travel Group Inc. and Seneca will bring a full service travel agency to the Seneca Markham Campus. From this on-campus location, the Merit travel agency will act as a learning resource for students who will:

  • participate in the daily operations of a corporate and leisure full-service travel company
  • research and book air, hotel, and tour packages
  • benefit from current curriculum in a new Corporate Travel Management course, internship and networking opportunities starting January 2010

'Our partnership with Merit will give students real world experience throughout their education with vital input from an industry leader. This is an advantage we are proud to give to our Tourism and Travel graduates,'
