Air Canada & Air Canada Vacations Boosting Sun Destination Flights This Winter

This winter, Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations will boost capacity with more seats each week to an expanded choice of 49 holiday sun destinations. New destinations to choose from this coming winter include Fort de France, Martinique and La Romana, Dominican Republic. Air Canada is also launching the only non-stop flights from Calgary to Honolulu and Maui, and adding 20 more non-stop flights each week to holiday sun destinations including nine additional flights to the
Caribbean and Mexico.

“Our upcoming winter sun schedule offers Canadians a wide choice ofpopular holiday destinations to escape the winter cold,” said Ben Smith,Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. “Air Canada continues to offer the largest choice of non-stop flights of any carrier between Canada and 49 holiday sun destinations, with up to 157 flights from Canada to Florida, 56 flights to Mexico, 125 flights to the Caribbean and 169 flights to California and Hawaii each week. With our 2009-2010 schedule, we are continuing to strategically deploy capacity to meet seasonal demand.”

Highlights of new and expanded Air Canada services to holiday sun destinations this coming winter include:

Calgary-Hawaii – The only non-stop flights begin weekly to both Honolulu and Maui on December 5th, with flights increasing to twice weekly to Honolulu, and three times weekly to Maui in mid-December until the end of April.

Toronto-La Romana, Dominican Republic – New destination with Air Canada. Flights departing every Saturday beginning December 19th.



Toronto-Varadero, Cuba – Increase to five times weekly, departing Mondays, Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.



Montreal-Fort de France, Martinique – New Air Canada flights launched in July will continue year-round, departing every Sunday.



Montreal-Fort Myers, Florida – New Air Canada flights will depart Sundays beginning December 6th.



Montreal-Samana/El Catey, Dominican Republic – New Air Canada flights will depart Saturdays beginning December 19th.



Montreal-Puerto Vallarta, Mexico – New Air Canada flights will depart Fridays beginning December 25th.

Montreal-Tampa, Florida – Weekly flights doubled with flights departing Thursdays and Saturdays beginning November 7th.

Montreal-Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – Increase to four times weekly, departing Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Ottawa-Turks & Caicos – New Air Canada flights will depart Mondays beginning December 21st.

Ottawa-Fort Lauderdale – Increase to daily flights beginning December 19th.

Halifax-Samana/El Catey, Dominican Republic – New Air Canada flights will depart Thursdays beginning February 11th.

Halifax-Tampa, Florida – New Air Canada flights will depart Mondays beginning February 8th.

Vancouver-Varadero, Cuba – New Air Canada flights will depart Fridays beginning December 25th.
