Jacqueline Stubbs, Sales Representative for Elite Island Resorts, Canada, says, “The Verandah is a remarkable location—it’s truly a destination within a destination—and with this renovation and our transition to adults-only, we are answering the call of many of our travel partners and guests”, and “This transformation reflects our commitment to offering travellers an unparalleled experience that harmonizes contemporary luxury with the timeless allure of the Caribbean.

The Verandah is a great product for clients because we have carefully preserved its Caribbean character while introducing contemporary design elements and state-of-the-art amenities while honouring the delicate ecosystem that surrounds it. By exclusively catering to adults, the resort promises an environment of tranquillity and refined indulgence for romantics, friends and groups alike, where they can bask in the serenity of secluded beaches, unwind by the pools, partake in a host of land and water sports, and explore the lush landscapes that have long defined the resort’s allure”.

Antigua is well serviced by Air Canada according to Erminia Nigro, General Manager for Air Canada Vacations Ontario.

“We’ve got direct flights out of Montreal and direct flights, of course out of Toronto and it gets to a stage where we’ll have four flights per week. And on top of that, we’ve upped up the ante as well with our connectors. So we have over 60 connectors across Canada to get people to Antigua.”

The new Verandah is designed to cater to a diverse range of travelers, including multigenerational families, groups of friends, and members of the LGBT and transgender communities. With its luxurious all-inclusive packages, it is sure to be a popular vacation spot for those aged 16+ and above.
