Kensington Tours Partners with AncestryProGenealogists To Provide Personalized Heritage Trips

Couple on vacation

Kensington Tours and AncestryProGenealogists have teamed up to offer a new travel experience called Personal Heritage Journeys, designed to provide people with a personal, in-depth and privately guided exploration of their family’s roots.

Each travel experience is designed through the collaboration of a Kensington Tours’ Destination Expert and a professional genealogist from AncestryProGenealogists. Working with Ancestry genealogists and their detailed research of each unique family tree, the Destination Expert will create a personalized itinerary around meaningful places and moments of their past. With the individual’s goals as the top priority, the entire trip is privately guided by local experts in history and culture. The AncestryProGenealogists expert will also accompany the trip for an added depth of knowledge.

Travel agents can now help their clients put together a unique family heritage trip by working with experts in both genealogy and custom private-guided travel.

“We want to connect people to their roots in a profound way,” said Helen Giontsis, President of Kensington Tours.

“Personal Heritage Journeys let clients bring their family’s past to life. Combining the expertise of AncestryProGenealogists and Kensington Tours’ Destination Experts and local private guides, as well as unbeatable 24/7 support, clients will be able to vividly explore the world of their ancestors. They’ll touch the same stones, walk the same streets, hear their stories, and feel their heritage in a meaningful way.”

Personal Heritage Journeys can be created for any destination globally, but specific countries – Scotland, Ireland, England, Germany, Poland, Italy, Ghana, and Japan – have thought-starter itineraries pre-developed to inspire clients and help them plan their own journey. Other destinations, such as New York, Quebec and more, will follow.

“We’re thrilled to offer a richer, more authentic experience of discovering your personal family history in partnership with Kensington Tours,” said Danamichele Brennen, General Manager of AncestryProGenealogists.

“The detailed family tree that our expert ProGenealogists carefully develop can evoke so much curiosity. Retracing the steps of our ancestors to gain a deeper understanding of their stories and culture can strengthen our sense of belonging and shape our future.”

Agents can earn a bonus of up to $200 per booking for any trips booked before 31MAR, 2021, paid out after initial deposit in prepaid VISA gift cards, for travel in 2021 and 2022.

Additionally, clients who book before 30APR, 2021, have the flexibility to postpone their trip or cancel it for a 100% future travel credit.
