BermudAir Embraer 175

BermudAir is gearing up for the arrival of two additional Embraer jets.

Founded in August 2023, BermudAir began flying between Toronto (YYZ) and Bermuda (BDA) last Spring.

The airline kicked off its operations with two Embraer jets and is introducing two more Embraer 190 aircraft in the spring of 2025 with 96 seats each along with increased cargo capacity.

According to BermudAir, the 3rd aircraft is to be operated as a dedicated spare and on-demand charter aircraft, while the 4th will enable BermudAir to increase frequencies to existing markets and to expand into additional markets.

Currently, BermudAir’s routes include Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Halifax (YHZ), Orlando (MCO), Toronto (YYZ), and Westchester (HPN).

By spring 2025, the Caribbean-based airline intends to expand its service to Charleston (CHS), Hartford (BDL), and Raleigh-Durham (RDU).

Adam Scott, CEO of BermudAir, describes the airline's trajectory as impressive.

“After just one year of establishing BermudAir, we are thrilled to take this next step in our journey. Adding these two Embraer 190 aircraft will allow us to grow thoughtfully while ensuring we maintain the high standards of reliability and service our customers have come to expect. This expansion will support our efforts to stabilise operations, create new opportunities for travel, and enhance the experience for everyone who flies BermudAir.”

As the airline enters its 18-month mark, "knowing when to grow and how to do so responsibly is critical to ensuring long-term success," Scott said.
